It Is What It Is

Written by Ann on March 21st, 2008 in Conversations, Marriage.

I love Friday! End of the work week and all that. We were looking forward to sprucing up our large yard this weekend, but the weather has other plans.

Jake enjoyed the aroma of dinner cooking before he ever even made it to the kitchen. I made chicken breasts with fennel, garlic and rosemary, along with stir-fry mixed vegetables. The smells filled the house and the colors made for a beautiful presentation. Great dinner.

We have lived from NYC to Seattle; often consider moving–no kids, but each time we debated and figured the hows and $$; in the end we let fate take over and looking back, it never steered us wrong. Being AWARE of what fate is telling you is the key. Become like a cosmic energy sponge and then be fearless.

Hi there! Just found your blog :) I’m not sure the trail I followed to get here, but it was a chronic health issue blog referrer, for sure. Darn, I need to remember those bread crumbs next time! Where are you considering moving to? I am a New Englander, born, raised and …well, I am still here. I have lived mostly in Massachusetts, but also New Hampshire, CT, and Maine - where I have been for the last 3 years. I’d love to know where you’re thinking about landing! If I can be of any help, please let me know.

    Thanks Hinsley,

Rhode Island was the hard target search area, actually. We’re beginning to accept that the cost of living there is prohibitive. Seems folks area actually leaving the area they so love for the very reason!

Took a look at your blog and found it interesting.
