Hey CNN: There Were 4 Guys at the Table

Hard to believe that January is almost over. We had salmon and stir-fry vegetables tonight and it was rather tasty.
I forgot to post right after dinner, and I guess my short-term memory is acting up again because I’m not really sure what we talked about…
After dinner, we did settle in to watch the Republican debate on CNN and I found it quite disturbing. Two of the four candidates where all but ignored. Were we only ones who could see them? We half expected Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee to put their feet up, loosen their ties and break out a deck of cards. Shame on CNN for allowing two of the four candidates to monopolize all the air time.
Then again, I’ve been quite distressed lately over the way the press has decided on the front runners on both sides of the aisle. They choose who will get air time and who will be cast aside.
It is equally distressing to think that by the time primaries are held in most states, half of the candidates have already given up, never giving the majority of citizens the chance to cast a vote in their favor. A handful of states get to decide for the rest of us who the front runners will be.
I’m beginning to think that I should stop giving so much thought to politics.
