Sesame Green Beans

Frozen green beans… canned green beans? They just can’t compare to fresh green beans.

Here’s an simple and tasty way to serve green beans even a toddler could love!

* fresh green beans   * freshly ground black pepper   * sesame seeds   * olive oil

Wash beans and cut ends.

Place in shallow dish (Corningware, glass, or metal lined with aluminum foil)

Sprinkle generously with freshly ground black pepper, sesame seeds, and olive oil. Stir.

Place in 325 degree oven for 20 minutes. Stir again. Check for desired tenderness — I prefer green beans with a little crunch still left in them.

The light taste of olive oil and sesame seeds brings out the naturally robust flavor of fresh green beans.

It doesn’t get much easier than this and the gorgeous green color will compliment almost any entree.

Bon appetit!
